Former President Trump revealed on Sunday that he has extended an invitation the loved ones of a National Guard member tragically killed last week to come to the executive mansion.

He mentioned that he spoke to her family and they were “deeply grieving”.

Community members assembled over the weekend at the high school in West Virginia to pay respects to Beckstrom.

Both the soldiers had been working with the West Virginia National Guard as part of Trump’s government program to support policing efforts in Washington DC.

She carried herself with inner fortitude, a warm expression and a positive energy that encouraged those around her,” the principal, the principal of her former high school, told the media. “She was caring, considerate and always willing to support those in need.”
